Membership of Playgroup NSW has a number of benefits for both the individual and the Playgroup as a whole.

Provides comprehensive insurance cover for members attending an affiliated playgroup, (public liability, personal accident and playgroup equipment)
Provides a referral service to Playgroups for members of the community
Assistance with setting up new playgroups
Provides playgroups with administrative material, play/craft ideas, conflict resolution and a range of services relevant to conducting a community playgroup
Communicates with its members through the distribution of Totline, the official Association magazine
Individualised ABC card which gives members the opportunity to receive discounts and benefits
Provides support for children and families with special needs and from culturally diverse backgrounds
Provides an advocacy role with government and non-government agencies
Appropriate training for committee volunteers
Support network for playgroups

Promotion of the playgroup movement on a state and national level
